Plastic surgery

Plastic surgery

, functional, structural and aesthetic restoration of all types of human body defects and deformities. The term plastic surgery comes from the Greek word for plastic, which means "build." Modern plastic surgery has evolved over two broad themes: the reconstruction of anatomical defects and the aesthetic enhancement of the normal form.

Surgical principles of the plastic surgery are still aimed at preserving the bloodstream by replacing similar tissues with similar tissues in the anatomical zones and promoting healing of the wounds, reducing the tissue injury.

As a diverse surgical specialty, the discipline of plastic surgery not only interacts with other medical disciplines, but also combines medical science with the discipline of physical rejuvenation. It addresses carefully the shortcomings of complex tissue types to improve uniformity of repair and natural resemblance. Innovative methods used in plastic surgery are largely the result of successful clinical clinical use of tissue engineering, nanotechnology and gene therapy.

The definition of modern plastic surgery is based on ancient medicine. The Sanskrit text of the Sushruta-samhita, written by ancient Sushruta practitioners about 600 years before the era of the modern, describes the essential plastic surgical procedures.
During the Renaissance, the Italian surgeon Gaspare Tagliacozzi and French surgeon Ambroise Paré adopted these early procedures and embarked on contemporary excitement using local and remote tissues to reconstruct complex wounds. In the 19th century, the German surgeon, Karl Ferdinand von Gräf, first used the term "plastics", describing the creative reconstruction of the nose in his text Rhinoplastik (1818).
In the United States, plastic surgeons were established between world wars, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, founded in 1931, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, founded in 1937. In the 1960s and 70s, Canadian Native American surgeon Harry J. Bunke, Japanese surgeon Susuma Tama and Austrian surgeon Hanno Millesi, set up procedures and methods for defining microsurgery (surgery in very small structures that need to use a microscope).

Is Breastfeeding Possible After Breast Implants?

Yes. Breast enlargement and insertion of the breast implant do not affect breastfeeding. However, if you plan to breastfeed in the future, let your plastic surgeon know about it.
